A Christmas Stocking

A long time hello. I apologize for not keeping up with my journaling I had some set backs but with a little more determination and consistency it will come together.

Here for the holidays, I've decided to make some stockings with an island flair, I will be sending them to my son and family in Colorado. I found some acrylic scrapbooking shapes at a dollar store here on Guam. I brushed tacky glue and stamped image unto red fleece that I found at Ross. It's great! This is a real easy project to. Sprinkled some glitter snow, Stringed the white pipe cleaners through snipped holes, and through jingle bells, along the cuff , and hot glued the ends inside the cuff.

Be encouraged, make something for the holidays, and send them to your family, and friends as keepsakes that they will remember. Have fun giving this holiday season.

Sincerely,

Janet M. Manns

Latte Stone Gone Pink

Hello everyone, I've finished Latte Stone Gone Pink. Been painting a few Latte stones in hews of gray and some brown. I got to thinking maybe I will try something out of the ordinary and traditional look. Latte Stone Gone Pink is a little bit contemporary w/a green grosgrain ribbon and a Hibiscus flower around the neck, and some circles on the body image.

This blue eyed feline is called "Katu" meaning (Cat) in our Chamorro language. Katu is hand painted on canvas. I applied Gesso on canvas let dry, and sanded before painting.
